How does a Mr. Slim system work?
Quietly, powerfully and efficiently, for starters. Unlike window units, Mr. Slim systems are made up of three components: the outdoor unit, indoor unit, and a remote controller. The outdoor unit and the indoor air handler are easily and quickly connected by refrigerant lines installed through a small 3-inch opening in the wall or ceiling¬¬--- since there’s no window required, there’s added security. The outdoor unit cycles the refrigerant through the lines to and from the indoor air handler, where the air is cooled or heated and delivered to the room.
